Model Making Services

Model making is where we start with a block of raw material (usually model board) and then take the original 3D CAD model data from the customer and add contraction if needed. Then we create cutter paths using the latest CAD/CAM software. The tool follows the cutter path in the CAM software and removes the unwanted material to produce the finished product or part.

At MJS, our professional team has made numerous models over the years in excess of 3 meters long. We blend technology and traditional skills to produce the right model for your design. We offer advice, if needed, on a range of issues relating to the design that is to be achieved.

The model-making facilities were established over 30 years ago, and although continually moving with technology, we still have the traditional skills required to take on any project.
